How did it all start
Bansko Bike Fest was born from the conviction that Bansko is not just a ski resort. The mountain offers endless cycling opportunities – from technical enduro trails to challenging panoramic road routes – and we wanted to show this to the whole world.
The first edition brought together a large number of enthusiasts with a common desire: to ride together, explore the mountains, and have fun. Now the challenge before us is for the festival to grow – more participants, more events, more partner brands, but for the spirit to remain the same. Everyone is welcome here – regardless of their level, equipment, or experience.
Our aim is for the Bansko Bike Fest to become one of the most diverse cycling gatherings in Bulgaria, offering something for everyone: from children taking their first pedal strokes, to experienced enduro riders and road cyclists dreaming of their Tour de France moment.
What do we want to achieve
Bansko Bike Fest isn't just a sporting event. Behind it lies a clear mission: to make Bansko a leading destination for cycling tourism in Bulgaria and the region, to inspire more people to get on their bikes, and to build lasting community interest around this passion.

Bansko Municipality
Institutional Partner. Bansko Municipality supports the festival with logistical assistance, permits for holding the events, and active support in organising the routes.
Bike Centre
Our general partner at Bansko Bike Fest 2026. They are participating in the festival through the brands they represent: Cube, Specialized, and others. You can test the bicycles they provide by registering and visiting their stand.
Yulen AD
Infrastructure partner. Yulen AD provides access to the cable car for the children's version of the Bike Rally - free for participants - and supports the festival with infrastructure in the mountain area.
